Approval Channels are used in all modules of Quadient AP. They allow you to create flexible approval workflows tailored to your specific needs. If you have any questions about your Approval Channels or want to discuss your approval workflows, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
How to edit Approval Channels
Please note that only System Administrators are able to edit Approval Channels.
Editing Approval Channel Name, Dollar Amount, and Lists
In Settings, select the Module from the bar on the top. Select Approval Channels on the left. Select either all Legal Entities (Global Rules) or one specific Legal Entity from the dropdown menu. Click the pencil icon on the right of the Approval Channel to open the edit menu.
In the Edit Channel menu, you can update the Approval Channel name, the dollar amount limits, and any lists used in the channel. Changing the Approval Channel's Legal Entity or lists will remove any items associated with those options.
Editing List Items and Approvers
In the Approval Channels menu, click on the arrow on the left to open the Approval Channel details view. Click on the Pencil Icon on either the List section or Approvers section to edit these fields.
In the List items or Approvers menus, add or remove items by highlighting the checkbox beside them and using the arrow keys. All items in a column can be selected by clicking the checkbox at the top of the list. The search fields can be used to locate specific items in larger lists.
