Pay Later & Do Not Pay statuses allow invoices to process through QuadientAP without putting them through the entire workflow.
Feature requirements
Users with the System Administrator or Invoice Administrator can mark invoices as Do Not Pay or Pay Later.
You are the invoice owner
The invoice is in an editable status - New, In Progress, Rejected, and Reset statuses are all editable statuses.
Pay Later
The Pay Later feature allows you to move an invoice to Pay Later (PL) status, a non-editable status within the In Progress tab. The invoice is fully searchable in the system and is excluded from notification email statistics. To mark an invoice as Pay Later, click into the invoice details and click Actions. Under Actions, select Pay Invoice Later.
By default, the invoice will not be visible in the In Progress tab. Select the Pay Later (PL) status under Status Filters to show any invoices in Pay Later status.
When it's time to process the invoice, click into the invoice details view again under Actions select Process Invoice. This moves the invoice back to In Progress status, where is it ready to go through the invoice workflow.
Do Not Pay
The Do Not Pay status removes the invoice from the workflow and moves it directly to the Archived tab. The invoice changes to Do Not Pay (DP) status, which is also non-editable. This invoice is fully searchable in the system. To mark an invoice as Do Not Pay, click into the invoice details and click Actions. Under Actions, select Do Not Pay Invoice.
By default, the invoice will not be visible in the Archived tab. Select the Do Not Pay (DP) status under Status Filters to show any invoices in Do Not Pay status.
If you need to process a Do Not Pay invoice,, click into the invoice details view again under Actions select Process Invoice. This moves the invoice back to In Progress status, where is it ready to go through the invoice workflow.
