Customizing Columns

Modified on Thu, 19 May, 2022 at 2:10 PM

Each user is able to customize the view and layout of the grid view of every tab in any module. By clicking on the cogwheel, each user is able to customize which columns are displayed, and choose the order in which they appear on the grid.

To customize your grid view in Beanworks:

  1. Click on the 'Cog Wheel' icon

2. Once the button is clicked, a dialog box will appear and you can choose which information will be displayed. Items on the left side are available choices, and items on the right side are selected to appear in your grid view.

You have the ability to add as many as 9 columns to display in Beanworks, so you will need to choose the information that is most important to you.

3. You can rearrange and prioritize each selected item as you would like, simply by clicking on the item, holding your mouse button and dragging & dropping the selected columns into the desired order. The order in which they appear is denoted by the numerical priority beside each column. A small black rectangle (or red triangle in Firefox) will appear when the column item is being dragged and will note the position where your item will be placed once the mouse button is released.

4. Once you have modified the columns as desired, click the 'Save' button at the bottom of the active box to ensure your changes are saved.
