Depending on your workflow, you may be the only payment approver or one of many approvers. Within the payment details view, you can see who else has approved the payment or who else still needs to approve it.
View approval progress
Click into the payment details view. Under Approval History, you can see who has already approved the payment. Additionally, click on the arrow icon to open the Approval Channel Progress bar. Here you can see which Approval Channel the payment is going through, and who is next to approve the payment.
