Please ensure that you've completed the Sage 50 Canada - Pre-installation Connection Checklist before continuing any further with this guide.  Installing SyncToll requires administrator access to the server environment where Sage 50 CA is installed. You may need assistance from your IT provider if you do not have this access.

Downloading SyncTool for Sage 50 Canada

In Settings, click ERP Management. Select the Legal Entity in question, and click Get SyncTool.

Two files will download - SyncTool.msi and Settings.json. Open and run SyncTool.msi to begin the installation. If the files do not download, please ensure you are logged into a browser that supports multiple file downloads at once such as Chrome or Firefox.

After downloading and running SyncTool.msi, allow a few minutes for SyncTool to install. Search for SyncTool in your start menu to locate and open the program.

Opening SyncTool will bring you to the Integration tab.

Once all fields in the Integration tab are filled in, click into the SFTP tab. Here you need to enter the SFTP username and password given to you by Quadient AP. If you don't have access to this, please contact our Support team or your Customer Success Manager. The Host, Port, and SSH Key fields will be pre-populated for you. Click Save to save the information entered in the Integration & SFTP tabs.
