Occasionally when syncing invoices from Quadient AP into Sage 50 CA, you may receive the sync error message:
'Connection error for Sage 50 Canada company "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Simply Accounting\2023\Samdata\Enterprise\Universl.SAI" : Beanworks.SyncTool.Abstraction.Infrastructures.Exceptions.SerializableException: Cannot open company file 'C:\Users\Public\Documents\Simply Accounting\2023\Samdata\Enterprise\Universl.SAI'. The file is currently used by another application.'
How to resolve this sync error
This error occurs when a user is logged into Sage 50 CA in Single-User Mode when you try to run a sync. To resovle this error, ensure that the user is logged into Sage 50 CA in Multi-User Mode.
