Accessing WinSCP and Updating your lists

Make the changes to the list(s) that you want to update using your csv template lists and save the file and close it.

Open up Win SCP on your computer from either your desktop, start menu or task bar.

Choose the company from the list on the left that you want to update the lists for and press “log in”.

The first time you log into the SFTP, you will likely get the following message. If you do, choose “yes”.

The SFTP will open.On the left side is your computer and you will need to browse to find the CSV files containing your lists that you want to update.Once you have found the files that you want to update, then you drag them from the left side, over to the right side.

Once the files have been dropped over to the right side, the files should disappear within one minute and the files will be synced with Beanworks.

If you are working with CSV files generated by your Accounting Software, please ensure that you have not opened and saved the file in Excel.
Excel will reformat you files such as removing leading zeros and changing date formats. This could lead to data issues in Beanworks.
