How to edit a user profile

System Administrators have access to edit all user profiles. Users can make small updates to their own profiles. 


Editing a profile - System Administrator

Navigate to Settings - User Management. Find the user in question, and click the pencil icon to edit their profile. 


In the Edit User menu, you can edit the following fields:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Email Alias

  • Roles (see this page for a definition of each role)

  • Home Org Unit

  • Additional Org Units

  • User Notification (see here for steps on change notifications)

Note that a user's email can not be updated once the user is created. If you misspelled the email, or your email has been updated, please reach out to our Support team. Once you have made the desired changes, click the 'Save' button at the bottom of the box. 


Editing your own profile

Users can make the following changes to their own profile under Settings - My Profile:

  • User Notification (see here for steps on change notifications)
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Aliases
  • Password
  • Approval Coverage (see here for more information)
