Payment Create error message - Payments must be created in the ERP then imported into Beanworks

When creating payments in Quadient AP, you may come across the error message 'Payments must be created in the ERP, then imported into Beanworks!'


How to resolve this error

This error message means that you are using the Imported Payment Workflow. With this workflow payments are created in your ERP and synced to Quadient AP in In Progress status. You do not create the payments in the Quadient AP Payment Create tab. You can learn more about the Imported Payment Workflow here, or reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
