Certain troubleshooting steps for SmartSync will require a full uninstall and re-install. Follow the steps below to ensure the uninstall is completed successfully.
- Open the server where SmartSync is installed
- Open Control Panel, and click Uninstall a program
- Locate SmartSync, and right click the program. Select Uninstall, and select Yes in the pop up window to confirm.
- If SmartSync is running, you will be asked if you want to close the program. In the pop up window, select 'Automatically close applicatetions and attempt to restart them after setup is complete'
Depending on your installation type, you may have to updater services as well - Beanworks SyncTool Updater A and Beanworks SyncTool Updater B. Both updaters must be uninstalled as well.
