Certain troubleshooting steps for SmartSync will require a full uninstall and re-install. Follow the steps below to ensure the uninstall is completed successfully. These steps must be completed by a user with Administrator access to your server.
How to fully uninstall SmartSync
Log in as Administrator to the server where SmartSync is installed. Open Control Panel, and click Uninstall a program.
In the 'Uninstall or Locate a Program' window, locate SmartSync and right-click the program. Select Uninstall, and select Yes in the pop-up window to confirm.
If SmartSync is running, you will be asked to close the program. In the pop-up window, select 'Automatically close applications and attempt to restart them after setup is complete'.
How to uninstall the SyncTool Updaters
Depending on your installation type, you may have to updater services- Beanworks SyncTool Updater A and Beanworks SyncTool Updater B. Both updaters must be uninstalled as well.
