How to View Sync Activities and Sync Logs

Sync Activities and Sync Logs provide additional information about a sync.


Sync Activities

This section shows the 10 most recent syncs for a legal entity. Here you can view the:

  • STATUS - The sync's current status.
  • SYNCTOOL NAME - A unique code to identify the sync tool. This is used to differentiate sync tools if you have multiple installed on one server.
  • REQUESTED BY - The user who ran the sync.
  • REQUESTED AT - What time and date the sync was requested.
  • LOGS - The sync log.

The sync status is indicated by one of four icons:

  • Hourglass: The sync was requested but hasn't started yet. All syncs begin in this status. If your sync does not commence after 1-2 minutes, please contact our Support Team.
  • Checkmark: The sync was successful. 
  • Cross: The sync was unsuccessful. Click the log icon to open the sync logs and find more information on why the sync failed. 
  • Exclamation point: The sync was partially successful, but certain operations failed, such as an invoice sync error. Open the sync log for more information.


Sync Logs

Sync logs show all information included in Sync Activities and a detailed summary of all information exported and imported during the sync.

Additional information for sync errors can be found in the sync logs. Below is an example of an invoice sync error message in the sync logs.
