Why can't I make changes to a PO?

In Beanworks there are two reasons why you will not be able to edit a purchase order:

  1. You are not the current owner of the PO.

  2. The PO is in a non-editable status: Pending Approval (PA), Purchase Order (PO), Closed (CL).

Not the current owner: If your name does not appear in the owner field located in the header of the PO, then you are not the current owner and will not be able to make any changes.

Non-editable status: Purchase orders cannot be edited once in PA, PO or CL status. To make changes to a PO in any of these three statuses you must reset the purchase order.
