Occasionally when syncing between Quadient AP into Sage 100, you may receive the sync error message 'Error Code: SY_NoUnifiedLogon Error: Access denied. Contact your system administrator.'

How to resolve this sync error

This error occurs when the Sage 100 access permissions have not been set correctly. Follow the below troubleshooting steps to resolve this error:

Allow External Access

In Sage 100 open Company Maintenance. In the Preferences tab, ensure that ‘Allow External Access’ is active. Without this permission, Quadient AP’s SmartSync will not be able to access Sage 100. This step must be completed for all your Sage 100 companies.

SmartSync Company Code

Open the SmartSync Manager app. In the Integration tab confirm that the Sage 100 company code entered is correct. If not, update the company code and click Save to save the changes.

If you're unsure of the company code, you can confirm it in Sage 100. Navigate to Library Master - Company Maintenance and click the magnifying glass beside the Company Code field. This opens your company list, showing all company names and their associated company code.

Unified Logon Permissions

The following steps are only applicable if your server uses Unified Logon. In Sage 100 navigate to Library Master - System Configuration. If your server uses Unified Logon, this checkbox should be enabled. Follow the steps here to ensure all users are enabled for Unified Logon.

If you continue to receive this error after following the above steps, please reach out to our Support Team for further assistance.
