This article relates to the Quadient AP NextGen UI, which is being released to our customers on a rolling basis. To learn more about the NextGen UI, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
Asynchronous Export allows invoice export operations to happen in the background, allowing you to navigate away from the Export tab and perform other actions in Beanworks. The feature is currently available for our clients on the following ERPs:
- QuickBooks Desktop
- QuickBooks Online
- Netsuite
- Sage Intacct
- Sage 50 US
- Microsoft Dynamics GP
Additionally, SmartSync is required for this feature. To learn more about SmartSync, check out our article here. If you meet the requirements, please contact your Customer Success Manager to enable Asynchronous Exports.
How it works
Currently, when exporting invoices, you must stay in the Invoice - Export tab while the invoices are exporting. The below message prevents you from moving to another tab.
Asynchronous Exports allows you to move to another tab, while the export process happens in the background. The invoices will move to Exporting (EP) status in Beanworks and go to either Exported or Sync Error status once the process completes.
